About Lisbon - Portugal
The capital of Portugal is a fascinating city, full of light and unfathomable mysteries, friendly people, beautiful gardens and a unique monumental, architectural and cultural heritage. These and other attributes make it one of the most attractive cities in Europe, both for visiting and for living.
Its numerous neighborhoods are the mirror of a Lisbon with many personalities: The genuine Alfama, the Mouraria cask, the steep and charming Castle, the cosmopolitan Baixa and Chiado, the plural Príncipe Real, the coquettes Lapa and Estrela, the familiar Campo de Ourique and the other more modern but not less fascinating – New Avenues, Telheiras, Lumiar, Areeiro, Rome, Alvalade and so on.
Having said that, to acquire a property in Lisbon is to buy a house in a city with a great quality of life and that is renewed with each passing day and also an opportunity of business irrecusable since the real estate market has come to appreciate in the last and the forecasts are to continue.
Local Flavours / Gastronomy
Lisbon is a city for good forks where there are plenty of great restaurants with proposals from the four corners of the world, chefs awarded with Michelin stars and “the typical tascas” where to taste some of the most characteristic dishes of the city like the fried, the half undone or the baits with them.
Beaches / Sports
Lisbon is also well known for having quick and convenient access to several beaches. This is the case of the beaches on the “Lisbon Coast” like for example Cascais and Estoril, the Serra de Sintra and the Costa de Caparica, on the south bank of the Tagus. In any of the beaches in the neighborhood of Lisbon you will find space to spread the towel in the sun and opportunity to venture into surfing, sailing and other water sports. And if you do not feel like going to the beach you can just stroll along the banks of the Tagus estuary that reminds us that the Atlantic is in the background.
